Pusha T stayed true to his word as he released another single from his forthcoming debut solo album, "My Name Is My Name." "Who I Am," is the latest G.O.O.D. Music collaboration featuring 2 Chainz and Big Sean, the single goes hard with layers of excitement and overt punch lines.
The beat is both complex and consistent as Pusha T, 2 Chainz, and Big Sean have fun, effortlessly pushing out boastful lyrics to let who know who they are.
Pusha T has been rather busy preparing for his highly anticipated solo album. He went on tour with Fabolous for their "Life Is So Exciting Tour," his spits dope verses on The Dream's "Pussy" and Kelly Rowland's "Street Life."
Fans can expect nothing less than the rough and honest street truths from Pusha. When Pusha T released the first Clipse album in 2002 with his brother Malice, the New York City born, Virginia Beach raised duo held their own and where ranked right along with some of the best rappers in the game. It's no surprise that Pusha T's long awaited solo debut, is expected to top charts.
"I don't think there's any point on this album where I thought twice about anything I was about to say, regardless of who it might've touched or affected or annoyed," Pusha told MTV News.
Pusha's fist single "Numbers On The Boards," features a similar medley of infused samples, which created a killer personalized sound for the album.
"My Name Is My Name," is due out July 16th.
