English indie rock group Arctic Monkeys debuted their newest song "Mad Sounds" over the weekend, performing it at Hultsfred Festival in Sweden on Friday and again at the Danish NorthSide festival on Sunday. This debut of "Mad Sounds" over the weekend comes about a month after the rockers unveiled another new song that is sure to be on their upcoming album, "Do I Wanna Know." The band opened both of these European gigs with this song and performed "Mad Sounds" towards the end of their set. Later this month, Arctic Monkeys will be headlining Glastonbury with The Rolling Stones and Mumford & Sons.
Before playing this new track towards the end of their headline set on Sunday, frontman Alex Turner announced to the crowd that he and his fellow band mates were about to "break things down, just a bit," with a few slow tracks. The singer also joked that the members of the audience should "keep warm by cuddling or something like that".
"Mad Sounds" is sure to appear on Arctic Monkeys' yet-to-be-titled, forthcoming album.
