2 Chainz NEW ALBUM [VIDEO]: Chainz Announces Based on a T.R.U. Story II Release Date And Offical Album Title, Performs At Atlanta Birthday Bash Concert

2 Chainz is known for his redundant flow, and if two times a charm for the “Feds Watching” rapper, then it should be easy to guess what he will call his sophomore album. Chainz announced the title of his sophomore album, B.O.A.T.S II: Me Time during his performance at Hot 107.9 Atlanta’s 18th Birthday Bash on Saturday night.

Based on a T.R.U. Story, was Grammy Award nominated rap album, with several top charting hits, which elevated Tity Boi to one of the most heavily featured artists of 2012. The “Birthday Song,” rapper is hoping for continued success with the second installment of his Based on a T.R.U. Story series.

After shutting down the stage at the Atlanta Phillips Arena, with perfomances of "I Luv Dem Strippers," "Spend It" and "Riot," Chainz tweeted to his fans:

Chainz was full of surprises at the annual Birthday Bash Concert; in addition to announcing his album title he also brought out special guest Drake. Check out his performance of "No Lie" with Drake below. B.O.A.T.S II: Me Time  is set to be released Sep. 10.
