Miss Utah Flub [VIDEO]: Marissa Powell's Bizarre Miss USA 2013, NeNe Leakes Q&A about Gender Equality in Workplace Goes Viral, 'Create Education Better' [WATCH]

During Sunday evening's live broadcast of the Miss USA pageant (June 16, 2013), Miss Utah Marissa Powell made one rather embarrassing flub during the Q&A segment of the competition. When judge NeNe Leakes asked the stunning beauty what were her thoughts about gender inequality in the workplace, Powell responded with a very bizarre, incoherent answer. Powell quickly wrap-up her response on how "creating education better" would solve the issue as the audience broke-out into supportive (perhaps pitying) applause. It's safe to say that Miss Utah was not crowned the winner. Continue on to check out the viral (cringe-worthy) clip.

Powell made it pretty far in the competition - until "Real Housewives of Atlanta" starlet NeNe Leakes posed this question:

"A recent report shows that in 40 percent of American families with children, women are the primary earners, yet they continue to earn less than men. What does this say about society?"

Miss Utah pondered that for a moment before responding:

"I think we can relate this back to education, and how we are... continuing to try to strive to [pause] figure out how to create jobs right now. That is the biggest problem. And I think, especially the men are... um... seen as the leaders of this, and so we need to try to figure out how to create education better so we can solve this problem. Thank you."

We kind of get what she was trying to say... we think...
