As Lady Gaga's ARTPOP closer, the whole world waits eagerly for the latest from the "Born This Way" diva. Well, everyone except for French artist Orlan. She's slapped the singer with a lawsuit claiming that she had her style stolen by Gaga, particularly in the video for "Born This Way" and the subsequent Born This Way Ball tour.

According to Orlan, a shot of Gaga at the beginning of the "Born This Way" music video resembles two sculptures she made in the '80s and '90s Woman With Head (1996) Bump-Load (1989). The shot of Gaga is above while Orlan can be seen here.

Orlan, whose real name is Mireille Suzanne Francette Porte is suing Gaga and her label for $31.7 million, in an attempt to prevent future sales of Born This Way.

According to The National Post, Orlan's art focused on plastic surgery and she has implanted facial prosthetics similar to the false ones that Gaga wore while on tour.

In other Gaga news, the singer may be returning prior to her ARTPOP release, which is expected later this year. Rumor has it she will perform alongside Beyonce in August in her first concert since having to cancel the Born This Way Ball with a hip tear.
