Nelly is back and ready to drop the second single from his forthcoming album M.O. Mr. Country Grammer tapped Pharell Williams and Nicki Minaj for the percussion heavy single "Get Like Me."
While Nelly and Pharell keep their voices to a soft almost whisper. The beat is infectious as Pharell leads the track with the catchy hook "All yall n*ggas want to get like me, surrounded by bitches that look like these..." It's easy to get lost in the beat when Nelly and Pharell collaborate on a track, however the lyrics effortlessly fit right in.
The song gets even more exciting when Nicki steps on the track with her classic feminine touch. Borrowing a word from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Lil Scrappy's vocabulary, her verse goes on to use puns that includes a shout out to blogger Nicole Bitchie, and Nicki's usual self centered Barbielicious antics.
Nelly's seventh solo album, M.O, will be released later this year. The album will include appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Nelly Furtado, T.I., and Trey Songz.
