Two decades as one of the top hip-hop groups in the world is a huge accomplishment and Wu-Tang Clan is celebrating their 20th year in the game with tours, new music, a "Family Reunion," and more. In anticipation of their reunion album, Ghostface, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, and Method Man lend their rhymes to long time Wu-Tang producer Mathematics for "The 4 Horsemen."
The new track has a vintage Wu-Tang feel, featuring Mathematics signature feel. Ghostface, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, and Method Man do not disappoint with hard hitting verses that begs to questions has it really been 20 years?
The Wu-Tang Clan reunion has been the buzz since early this year. The iconic group announced their European Reunion Tour earlier this year and Mstars News multimedia journalist Dominique Zonyéé caught up with Ghostface Killah back in April.
"We definitely have a lot in store," Ghostface told Dominique in April of the Wu-Tang Clan Reunion. "With the Wu Tang tour you never know what you are going to get, we haven't even started arranging our tour-but it going to be amazing," he said. Ghostface's insight was proven to be right on point, as the group rocked out the Met Life Stage at Summer Jam XX, Sunday, June 2.
"When you look at Wu Tang we are just as live and energetic as the younger cats," Ghostface said, "We have been doing this for so long, that it's nothing... like second nature."
The Wu-Tang clan will play at O2 Apollo in Manchester, on July 25th. They will make their London appearance at the O2 Academy, July 26.
"The 4 Horsemen" will be on Mathematics album Answer, which drops next Tuesday, June 25.
