Kanye West is no stranger to controversy. His new album "Yeezus" is drawing plenty of complaints about its misogynistic themes...but the again so has every Yeezy album. The complaints about the opening track on the new LP are coming from a different lobby however.

Groups representing those who suffer from Parkinson's disease are lashing out against West because of one of the lines in the track "On Sight." The offending lyric:

"A monster about to come alive again/Soon as we pull up and park the Benz/We get this b---- shaking like Parkinson's," he raps.

Victims of Parkinson's frequently suffer tremors as a result of the loss of brain cells producing dopamine. Groups like Parkinson's UK did not see the reference as good fun. Steve Ford, the chief executive of the UK group, said the song demonstrated an "inexcusable level of stupidity."

"People with Parkinson's have to cope with intolerable social discrimination on a daily basis, often to the point where they are afraid to go out in public," he said. "And this sort of thoughtless, callous comment can only serve to make things even worse for them."

The U.S. American Parkinson Disease Association has also expressed its displeasure with West, telling TMZ that "we find these lyrics distasteful and the product of obvious ignorance."

West hasn't responded to the criticisms yet. Apart from the many understandable complaints about the political incorrectness of "Yeezus," the album has been winning over listeners from a strictly musical perspective. It currently has an 87 percent ranking on review aggregator Metacritic.
