Bruno Mars is sure to look fresh on his new tour. Yesterday (June 19), Italian designers Dolce & Gabbana announced that they will be making the clothes for the worldwide series of concerts.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said they will be making Mars' suits for his upcoming Moonshine Jungle tour.
"Bruno's style and music are so eclectic that oftentimes we have taken inspiration directly from his work to create looks that were at the same time in line with his very personal taste, as well as with the DNA of Dolce & Gabbana. With time, we have managed to establish with him a relationship of absolute faith in each other and mutual trust, that allows us to create and work together in an atmosphere of complete harmony," the designers said in a statement.
The "When I Was Your Man" crooner is well known for his personal sense of style. Mars can frequently be seen in snappy, vintage-inspired suits, leather jackets and Ray Ban sunglasses. The Grammy-winning artist is also fond of fedora hats and simple gold necklaces, giving him a unique personal style.
Dolce & Gabbana have teamed up with artists for tours before. According to THR, they've outfitted Madonna on her Girlie Show tour in 1993 and again for Music in 2000. They've also dressed tours for Mary J. Blige and Kylie Minogue.
The designers are also frequently seen on red carpet events and have been worn by everyone from Beyonce to Scarlett Johansson.
The Moonshine Jungle world tour will kick off June 22 in Washington, D.C. Mars will continue playing shows throughout North America until September. He'll then take a break before hitting Europe and Oceania beginning in October.
