Though Amy Winehouse's official cause of death has been proven twice to be alcohol poisoning, her brother Alex Winehouse claims that it was really a long struggle with bulimia that killed the late soul singer.
In an interview with the Observer in which Alex Winehouse discussed his sister's life and untimely death, he said that he believes the singer's battle with bulimia led to her passing.
"She would have died eventually, the way she was going, but what really killed her was the bulimia," Alex is quoted as saying.
"I think that it left her weaker and more susceptible. Had she not had an eating disorder, she would have been physically stronger."
The interview covers many periods of Winehouse's life as the family is about to open up an exhibit dedicated to Winehouse at the Jewish Heritage museum titled Amy Winehouse: A Family Portrait.

"Do you have a sister?" he asks me when I wonder what Amy was like. I nod. "Then you'll know. She was annoying, frustrating, a pain in the bum. But she was also incredibly generous, very caring. She'd do anything for anyone, she really would. She was loyal - as a sister, daughter and friend. She was probably the most loyal friend to people I've ever known." Later, he adds: "She was a really good person. And horrible in other respects."
The exhibit will contain family history, photos and artifacts that were found among Winehouse's possesions at the time of her passing.
