One Direction 'Best Song Ever', New Single From 1D Drops July 22

It's getting harder and harder not to like One Direction. First, they announce that they are planning to tour the US in a modified version of the Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo. Now, they've proven awesome enough to release a song called "Best Song Ever." 

Not just write and record it, mind you. They are releasing "Best Song Ever" as a single.

It will serve as the first single off of their third album which will drop later this year via Columbia. The single will be released on July 22. 

For 1D fans who crave a bit of the new stuff right now, a snippet of "Best Song Ever" will appear in 1D's trailer for their upcoming 3D movie This Is Us (the trailer will be released on their VEVO channel later today.

They will also perform the song live for the first time at the Teen Choice Awards, which airs on FOX on Sunday, June 11.
