Chris Brown is in trouble with the law again. Last weekend he was accused of deliberately shoving a club-goer at an Anaheim nightclub, however possible wrong doings in May are catching up with the "They Don't Know" singer too. According to TMZ, Chris Brown is being charged by the LAPD for a hit-and-run, which took place last month.
The L.A. City Attorney has filed 2 criminal charges against Brown, in connection with a minor accident last month where Chris rear-ended a Mercedes and allegedly refused to fork over his driver's license number and gave bogus insurance info and then left the scene, TMZ reported. Chris was driving in the car with on and off again girlfriend Karreuche Tran.
Chris supposedly fled the scene without exchanging proper information. He's also been charged with the crime of driving without a valid license. The crimes are punishable by a maximum of 6 months in jail for each offense.
If Chris is being charged what does that mean for Karreuche Tran, who was also in the car when the incident took place? Will she also face jail time?
While the L.A. County DA offices builds its case on Chris Brown, in typical Chris fashion, the Grammy Award winning singer took to Twitter to tell his side of the story.
If the judge in that case concludes Chris broke the law and thereby violated his probation, he could be sentenced to prison for 4 years, according to TMZ. No word on weather Karreuche Tran will face charges as well.
