Franz Ferdinand New Album: Listen to 'Right Action', 'Love Illumination' From 'Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action' [VIDEO]

Franz Ferdinand recently announced Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action their first album since 2009. The follow-up to Tonight won't hit stores until August 27, but we have the first official cuts off the Scottish rockers latest right here.

"Right Action" contains the angular rock and typical jangle we've come to expect from the group, although the bass is decidly funkier than the usual Franz fare.

"Love Illumination" features a riff that falls somewhere between bar band sleaze and The Hives, though the song becomes Ferdinandian once the vox come in.
