Miley Cyrus has shed her Hannah Montana image and reemerged as a new artist for her new single "We Won't Stop." The twerk queen opened up to New York's Hot 97.1 to the Breakfast Club about involving from Disney and becoming the "a ratchet twerk queen."
Miley attributes her growth as a recording artist to taking two years off after retiring from Hannah Montana and purchasing her own home to relax and "f*ck shit up." Miley said that her new image was all calculated. " I wanted the "We Won't Stop" video to look like a new artist."
Miley's twerking video at a recent Juicy J concert went viral. Miley said that Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose got her to twerk on stage as she went up to compete with a girl who was dropping it on stage for cash. Amber and Wiz told her that she could do so much better then the girl on stage, so Miley stepped up to the challenge.
After shaving her hair and coming into her own, Miley makes it clear that she is still a southern girl, however her album is heavily hip-hop influenced. She talked working closely with Pharell Williams and Mike Will Made It. Miley told the Breakfast Club that her album will feature a collaborations with Future, Mr. Hudson, Big Sean, Ludacris, and Juicy J.
