Game of Thrones Season 3: HBO Hit Fantasy Most Pirated Show In Spring 2013

The hit HBO fantasy series "Game of Thrones" was the most pirated television program during Spring 2013, according to TorrentFreak.

The site calculated and estimated the total downloads of each episode of a particular TV show from March to June 2013 and "Game of Thrones" came in far and away at the top of the list.

The HBO hit was downloaded 5.2 million times per episode, which nearly matches the actual broadcast audience of 5.5 million, according to DigitalSpy.

The CBS sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" came in second at 2.9 million downloads per episode, while fellow CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother" placed third at 2.85 million.
