AMC will air the final eight episodes of its smash hit "Breaking Bad" starting on Sunday, Aug. 11 and both fans and cast members have offered their thoughts on the ending.
IGN got a few words from Aaron Paul, who plays Jesse Pinkman on the show, and he commented on the final episodes in a very Jesse-like way:
"You guys are gonna s*** your pants," Paul said. "Before I read the final eight episodes, the final eight hours of the show, I was thinking to myself, 'This is so tragic. I can't believe this show is ending.' I didn't want it to end. But after knowing how the final eight hours play out, I couldn't be happier with the way that it ended. Hopefully, you all agree, and I feel pretty confident that you will."
Paul also said he really does not have too hard a time keeping the details of the final episodes a secret.
"I don't have a problem not telling people because I don't want to ruin it for anybody," Paul said. "Everyone asks me, but deep down they don't really want to know, and I know that."
As Mstars previously reported, Dean Norris, who plays Hank, appeared on EW Morning Live on Entertainment Weekly Radio (SiriusXM Channel 105) and also dropped some details about the highly anticipated final eight episodes of the series.
Fans remember that Hank finally discovered Walter White's (Bryan Cranston) big secret at the end of last summer's finale: Walt is Heisenberg, the drug kingpin Hank has chased for more than four seasons. Norris promised that Hank and his brother-in-law would clash in the final run of the show:
"There's going to be a big Walt-Hank showdown," Norris said. "Obviously now that Hank is on to it, he needs to deal with that situation. It's like a freight train, man."
Norris also offered some high praise for the last eight episodes of "Breaking Bad," which has evolved into one of the best shows on television in the last several years.
"These eight episodes, I think, are possibly the best eight in the whole series," Norris said. "And that's saying a lot because it's a great series. They just power right through."
