Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger Married? Nickelback Frontman and 'Here's To Never Growing Up' Songstress Marriage Rumors

Alright, so it would appear that there was a large flurry of rumored information regarding the engagement/marriage of Chad Kroeger. Kroeger proposed to Lavigne a while back and presented her with a massive diamond. The couple was in southern France over the weekend, and after a tweet sent by Lavigne's Label's CEO, E! decided to run with the story. Who can blame them; he seems like a perfectly legitimate source!

Well it turns out it is still better to double check on everything before you run with a story. E! seemed to have the wrong information and once again twitter proves to provide incorrect information. Usually it does a good job of giving out first hand information lately but sometimes things like this slip through the cracks. It happens! All E! has to do now is let it settle and see if there is any refutable damage to their rep. It will more than likely be alright, the source seemed to be rather credible.

Either way after the whole story was delivered; People Magazine came out with a story today letting people know that the couple is not actually married, and that the information was wrong. So no worries to anyone who is a large fan of this couple! There is still time to look forward to what Lavigne's wedding dress will look like, and where exactly they are going to get hitched! Plus everyone wants to know whether Chad Kroeger is going to go for a rocker kind of tux, or a straightforward penguin suit, only time will tell apparently.
