Dave Grohl took the stage with two of his Foo Fighters band members on Saturday at the Costa Mesa Fairgrounds and performed an awesome rendition of Queen and David Bowie's "Under Pressure."
Grohl performed the song with Chevy Metal, a band that consists of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett. Check out the song below:
According to Daily Pilot, the set lasted an hour and Chevy Metal also played several other covers, including Van Halen's "Panama" and the Rolling Stones' "Miss You." TMZ reports that the group also sang The Knack's My Sharona.
Grohl also reportedly asked for some Crown Royal whiskey during the concert (and got his wish) and "acted a bit silly" during the Queen song, according to Daily Pilot.
The 44-year-old Grohl played drums for Nirvana and has been the lead singer of the Foo Fighters since 1994. The band released its latest album, Wasting Light, in 2011 but Grohl told MTV.com in January that the band, though on break, has been working on ideas for a follow-up album.
