Eminem Sparks Skylar Grey New Album Buzz, 'Don't Look Down Summer 2013' Tour Announced, Release Date July 9: Twitter Fans Anxious for Another 'Love the Way You Lie' Hit [VIDEOS]

Not many fans know this, but Eminem's protege Skylar Grey is a five-time Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter who's helped penned some of today's hottest hits (including Slim Shady's "Love the Way You Lie," featuring Rihanna). The 27-year-old "Like Blood Like Honey" crooner is set to release her highly-anticipated sophomore album "Don't Look Down" on July 9. In promotion of the new record, Grey will hit the road this summer on her "Don't Look Down Summer 2013" tour. Grey kicks-off the July concert series in Philadelphia on July 10 and will stop at several major cities throughout the country. Read on for more details!

Grey released her debut album "Like Blood Like Honey" under the name Holly Brook in 2006. She co-wrote the three hit versions of "Love the Way You Lie" (performed by Eminem and Rihanna) with Alex da Kid - he later signed her to his KIDinaKORNER record label. The track earned her Grammy Award nominations for Best Song and Best Rap Song of the Year. Grey was also featured as a guest vocalist on Fort Minor's "Where'd You Go" and "Be Somebody," Diddy-Dirty Money's "Coming Home," Dr. Dre's "I Need a Doctor," Lupe Fiasco's "Words I Never Said," and Kaskade's "Room for Happiness."
