So...a few things happened at the Rolling Stones' Glastonbury Set on Sunday (June 30). The Stones' set a single stage attendance record for the festival with 100,000 people attending the 2013 50th Anniversary set at the Pyramid stage. Additionally, one of those 100,000 attendees gave birth during the show.
A Leicester woman gave birth at the Glastonbury festival after going into labor during The Rolling Stones' headlining set Saturday night.
Heidi Wesson welcomed a baby girl at 3 a.m. Sunday at the Glastonbury medical center. The bundle of joy arrived two weeks earlier than expected.
In a statement issued to NME, a Glastonbury official admitted this wasn't the first baby born at the yearly festival, and extended congratulations.
"We'd like to send our congratulations to the family," the statement said. "We look forward to welcoming them back in future years. We've had babies born here that are now grown-ups. They still come every year. That's a beautiful thing."
On top of the record-breaking 100,000 fans in attendance, 2.5 Million viewers tuned in to catch a portion of the show on BBC.
