The actual due date of the Royal baby have yet to be officially announced, but the days of mid-July are when the public will be expecting to hear about the future heir to the throne of Britain. Basically, July 11 - July 17 is the time span of when the Duchess of Cambridge is expected to give birth to her first child with Prince William, which of course means that we are in the final few weeks of admiring Kate's pregnancy. There are definitely rumors about a possible early delivery, but at this point in the game it would not be that drastic. But, once the baby is born at least one bodyguard is worried about the Prince or Princess' (yeah, we still have no idea about the gender or name of the child) safety in this tumultuous political climate.

Ken Wharfe, who was the former bodyguard of Princess Diana and also that of Prince William when he was a child, has come out saying that he is legitimately concerned for the safety of the soon-to-be-born Royal.

"Kate's baby could be in danger," the bodyguard explained. "Given the political state of the world and the vulnerability of the royals, they need a lot of protection."

"In this terror-ridden world of ours, there's a real risk of kidnap for this child," he added, also explaining how he felt comfortable taking young Wills out in the public. He would not feel the same if he were to do the same with the Duke's child, though.

"The world is a much more dangerous place than it was 20 years ago, when we would take William and Harry out," Wharfe said.

In order to ensure the baby's safety, Wharfe said, "What they will have to do is surround themselves with police, which could be a multi-million pound operation."

Are you concerned about Kate and William's first child, too?

According to Palace sources, Britain's Duchess of Cambridge will give birth to the future heir to the British throne in the same hospital wing where the late Princess Diana gave birth to Princes William and Harry: the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital.

The birth of the future heir to the throne will be announced with a bulletin post on an easel behind the gates of Buckingham Palace. This bulletin will read: "Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a child." Also, according to a palace aide, "There will be gun salutes, flag flying and bell pealing. It's very exciting."

When do you think the baby will arrive? Do you think Kate will deliver a boy or a girl? What will the future heir to the throne be named?
