A protestor holding a sign that read, "Repent or Else," at a gay pride parade called PrideFest, in Seattle, was attacked by two men following a loud argument on Sunday.

The confrontation occurred between two protestors holding religious signs that read, 'Repent or Else,' and 'Jesus Saves From Sins,' and a group of parade-goers, according to a report by Komo 4 News.

Police officers on bicycles overheard a loud argument between two groups of people near Fourth Avenue North and Broad Street but did not inquire further, reports bossip.com.

One man, 'Rogue,' who chose to remain anonymous, caught the whole incident on film. One of the preachers was attacked when his back was turned and violence ensued from there. What began as a political argument soon became a violent assault.

"What I heard the street preacher was saying to people essentially was 'repent or go to hell," Rogue, the videographer explained, according to Komo 4. The parade-goers tried to get the preachers to repeat what they had said and threatened them saying that they should leave.

At one point, one woman yelled at the man holding the 'Repent Or Else' sign, "If I were you, I would f***ing leave.  If I were you, I would leave."

A group of women went after one of the preachers signs and eventually one man manages to break the sign and run off with it. After that, the assault began. The attacks continued until a crowd of parade-goers moved in to pull the fighting men apart.

"I was surprised at how ugly and how physical it got and how quickly it escalated," Rogue said.

The video proved to be evidence against two key suspects, a man, identified as Jason Queree, 36, of Marysville, and another unidentified man.

Both of the men who were involved in the fight were arrested seconds after the attack and are now facing charges of misdemeanor assault. Queree was in King County jail, however, he was bailed out, and he seems to have a fairly extensive criminal record, according to Komo 4.  The second man, was not booked in the jail and remains unidentified for the time being.

Rogue said that, although he believes that society has come a long way when it comes to tolerating different lifestyles and beliefs, "I think this video shows, we have a ways to go."
