Beyonces Father and Former Manager Mathew Knowles Remarries, New Stepmother is Former Model Gena Charmaine Avery

Beyonce's father is "Crazy in Love." Mathew Knowles, the pop superstar's dad and former manager got married last Sunday (June 30) to Gena Charmaine Avery, according to People.

Beyonce's new stepmother Avery is a former model. She and Knowles tied the knot in Houston last week. The couple had been engaged for a year and a half.

Mathew Knowles is best known for being the manager for his daughter and the R&B girl group Destiny's Child. Beyonce dropped her father as her manager in 2011.

He still runs World Music Entertainment and manages gospel music acts.

This is Mathew Knowles' second marriage. He first married Tina Knowles in 1980, and the couple had two children together: Beyonce and her R&B singer sister Solange.

The two divorced in Dec. 2011 after reports surfaced that Mathew had an affair with actress Alexsandra Wright. The two had a love child, Nixon, and soon after the baby was born, Beyonce's parents ended their marriage.
