Guantánamo Bay has been at the forefront of controversy for more than a decade. Since the camp was established by the Bush Administration in 2002 to hold mainly Muslim detainees to be determined to be affiliated with terror attacks, there have been several complaints of torture and abuse.
On the heels of more scandals and unconstitutional reports, the U.S. detention camp located at the Guantánamo Bay Naval Base, Cuba has undergone a mass hunger strike by more than half of the prisoners, and as a result the U.S. government has adopted a painful yet "necessary" force feeding procedures.
With the holy month of Ramadan near, rapper Mos Def who has adopted the Islamic name Yasiin Bey volunteered to undergo the gruesome procedure, which lead him to scream in pain and burst into tears.
