Niall Horan, Ellie Goulding Dating Rumors 2013, Twitter Flirting [PHOTOS]: One Direction's Irish Heartthrob Moves on From 'Devastated' Zoe Whelan?

Reports just confirmed that One Direction member Niall Horan and his rumored girlfriend Zoe Whelan had officially called it quits this week, but it looks like the 19-year-old singer is enjoying the single lifestyle. Horan caused a big Twitter ruckus during a recent conversation with fellow performer Ellie Goulding. Rumors have already been spreading around the Internet, mainly because of how flirtatious the tweets were.

Eventually, Ellie took notice and responded to the later tweet, saying: "I knew you loved me hahaha."

The flirting has seemed to have stopped there, but upon further investigation, it looks like the "Burn" singer was at a 1D concert on July 4 and shared a photo on her Instagram account. Coincidence or have she and Niall been hanging out?

Niall even Re-Tweeted Ellie's photo and sent her the following message: "Good t see ya tonight honey!"

So has Niall moved on from Whelan? According to reports, he had probably already moved on from the aspiring model months ago.

Sources are claiming that the Niall simply ignored his rumored girlfriend for months on end before the relationship was confirmed to be over:

"It is all over for Niall and Zoe - and it is completely because of his side of things," the insider stated. "Obviously, it was always going to be hard to have an ongoing relationship when his job has him travelling around so much. But there's been no push from Niall to keep things going at all and he has told Zoe it is over by completely blanking her. Over the past few weeks her modelling career has become huge, but Niall hasn't been in contact to say well done. She hasn't even had a text from him, let alone a call, for nearly two weeks."

The source continued: "Out of respect to Niall, she refused to say a word to anyone about the relationship - even when there was money on the table to spill the beans as she knew it would be over then. But it seems just doing her job is too much for 1D's people, who appear to have pressured Niall to cut all ties with Zoe. It's cruel the way he's done it, and she's obviously a bit devastated it's over."
