It has been a little over a week since One Direction's Harry Styles was spotted in New York City shopping with British model Kara Rose Marshall. This outing spurred plenty of dating and romance rumors, of course, and this week an insider is confirming the relationship! Do you think Taylor Swift will write a song about this?

The newly confirmed couple apparently spent a lot of time together; first they were shopping at the Apple store with Styles' hairstylist, Lou Teasdale, and then they spent some time together Sunday night on a rooftop with friends.

"Harry and Kara are definitely hooking up," a source revealed. "But people aren't happy about it."

Clearly One Direction fans are never too happy when one of the boys is spotted with an attractive lady friend, but the source was talking about a mutual friend of Harry and Kara's.

According to this source, Harry and Kara met through their mutual friend Tom Atkin of The Paddingtons. At the time, Kara was dating Atkin's close friend but when she split from her ex, he reportedly told Styles to stay away from her. It doesn't look like he listened.

"She met Harry through her ex-boyfriend and now it's put their mutual friends in an awkward position," the source explained. "He was warned to stay away from her, but clearly didn't listen."

So is this a serious relationship for Harry? According to this insider, it definitely is not.

"It's not a serious romance," the source revealed. "She still loves her ex boyfriend, who she was with for years, Harry's just a bit of fun."
