Gospel Singer Tracy Randall EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Grammy Nominated Singer/Songwriter Shares His 'Testimony,' Talks Finding God and His Path to Becoming a Solo Artist

In life everyone has a testimony, however each individual shares his or her stories differently. For musicians and recording artists they usually share their life stories in song, dance, or visual art; and Tracy Randall is no different. Tracy's path to finding God and becoming a gospel singer can be felt and heard throughout his music as he continues to build his inspirational path to greatness.

Growing up in Lake Charles, Louisiana as the eighth child of 10 children, Tracy was the only child to graduate from High School. He went on the complete his Bachelors degree by the ripe age of 19 and went on to complete a JD (Law Degree) and a Ph.D., in International Business and Marketing at UCLA by the age of 26. Being Young and successful would turn Tracy's world upside down, as his life as an entertainment lawyer/songwriter was plagued with drug and alcohol abuse.

However, his downward spiral would hit a curve when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia in 2006. Doctor's concluded that he would have 6 to 7 months to live, and in a twist of faith the tragic news of his terminal illness ignited a call to God that would forever change his life. He described the first time hearing the voice of God after receiving the news as he walked from a New York City hospital in his video documented "Tesitmony."

Tracy is 36-years-old and alive and still fighting in 2013. As a self-indentified son of God, Tracy is using his positive relationship with God, and his God given talent as singer/songwriter to influence others embrace the love of Jesus Christ. Although he started out working behind the scenes with his production company writing and producing, for the likes of 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, Jamie Foxx, and more; Tracy's soul awakening encounter with God, opened the idea of him transitioning into a recording artist.

Soon after discovering his own love for the Lord in 2006, Tracy released independently released his debut Gospel album entitled, "Sinners Have Souls Too," generated an excess of 270,000 units sold. On the heels on his debut success Tracy followed up with the 2012 album Troubled Times, released on March 19. The album's first single "It Feels Good (So Good)" caught the attention of the gospel world garnering him respect from Grammy Awarding winner Yolanda Adams and more.
