Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran Secret Love Pact [VIDEO]: 'Everything Has Changed' Duet Singers Plan for Future Romance During 2013 'Red' Tour

It looks like Taylor Swift's past relationships with the likes of John Mayer and Harry Styles have taken their toll on the 23-year-old pop sensation. In recent months Swift has admitted to heartache and even mentioned she had no idea what her future holds, so perhaps that is why she and her "Red" tour opener Ed Sheeran (who has been rumored to be dating Swift and even Selena Gomez) have come up with a "back up plan" when they hit 30 years of age.

According to an insider, the two performers - who recently saw plenty of success with a duet entitled "Everything Has Changed" - get along great and might have even set up a secret love pact for the future!

"Ed and Taylor are very close and that's why they've jokingly discussed the possibility of getting together if they're both on the market in seven years' time" a source told the UK's Star Magazine. "Neither of them wants to settle down at the moment- or jeopardize their friendship with a potentially damaging fling."

There have been plenty of rumors surrounding Swift and Sheeran's apparent romance, but the two remain friend despite possibly harboring more feelings for each other.

"They make for a great couple, but right now it's a case of right partner, wrong time," the insider said.

Taylor Swift recently opened up about relationships and how she deals with heartbreak.

"I think when you're heartbroken you need music more than when you're not," Swift said. "There's something so beautiful about people who are heartbroken; they think about things much more."

"When you're in love and you're happy you don't need to think; it's just there," she explained. "Love is one of those things that's so simple, you only need to think about it when it's bad. When you write a song about what you're thinking... there's such a gratification and it helps you move on."
