More than a year after her tragic death at the age of 48, Whitney Houston's grave finally has a headstone. The red marker over her plot in Westfield, New Jersey is engraved with the lyrics of her most famous song, "I Will Always Love You."

Whitney is buried next to her father. Her full epitaph reads: "Whitney E. Houston Aug. 9, 1963 -- Feb. 11 2012, THE VOICE, 'I Will Always Love You'.

The track from the film The Bodyguard was originally penned and sang by Dolly Parton but is more commonly associated with Houston.

Parton has previously admitted that the song is more Whitney's now.

"When Whitney did I Will Always Love You, I mean look what a grand song she made out of that simple, heartfelt... song... It was just amazing. Whitney is the one who took it worldwide and really made it a household song... so I'll always be thankful to her for that," said Parton.
