While promoting his new film Pacific Rim last night on "Conan," actor Charlie Day shared a new clip from his FX show "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." The exclusive preview clip definitely brings fans back into the crazy antics of "the gang," and even shows some other familiar faces. Plus, for die-hard "Sunny" fans, you get to see a reoccurring gag involving a single videotape.

Before showing the clip, Day sets it up by saying that wrestler "Rowdy" Roddy Piper makes a special appearance in this episode where "the gang" tries to get him involved in a pyramid scheme. Clearly, just the description sounds funny enough, but let's check out the clip right here:

Charlie also got to talk to O'Brien about his role in the summer blockbuster movie Pacific Rim. Day admits that his character is "not the handsome, strong guy in the movie," and is more of a "nerdy science guy who thinks he's cool."

O'Brien then draws a parallel between Day's Pacific Rim character and Rick Moranis' character from Ghost Busters. Day admits the similarities and says, "it's pretty depressing." The "It's Always Sunny" star also talked about how, while the other actors in Pacific Rim had to undergo "boot camp" training sessions for the film, he was basically just given chocolate by director Guillermo Del Toro.

Check out this part of the interview right here where co-host Andy Richter says of Day, "Even among Asians he's the little dude," after watching a Pacific Rim clip:
