Lindsay Lohan might be in rehab but she still knows how to get things done. Word got out Tuesday that Lohan's upcoming commitments to the Oprah Winfrey Network will be worth upwards of $2 million.
Lohan will be taking part in two separate programs as soon as she exits the rehabilitation center she's currently staying at. The first will be a 90-minute exclusive interview between Lohan and Winfrey. That may seem like the queen of television isn't getting her money's worth, but Winfrey has squeezed serious viewing numbers out of her network's previous exclusives, including Lance Armstrong's admission to using steroids.
The second part of the deal will be an eight-episode reality miniseries that will follow Lohan around as she tries to get her acting career back on the right track. Lohan is reportedly going to be living in New York City when she leaves rehab, according to mother Dina Lohan, and the show will begin shooting in August.
Reports suggest that Winfrey's side and Lohan's side negotiated for nearly four months before coming to an agreement. It's rumored that Lohan inked the final contract while staying at the Betty Ford clinic. Aside from the $2 million, Lohan also received two fully-paid assistants and a stylist to aid her through the shooting process.
Call it selling out, but Lohan has made some significant earnings from deals like this. Her topless shoot in Playboy magazine scored her another million bucks.
