Adam Levine, Behati Prinsloo Engaged [PHOTO]: Maroon 5 Singer to Marry Victoria's Secret Model, Romance Rekindled After Dating Nina Agdal

Despite calling things off with Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo and then apparently dating Sports Illustrated model Nina Agdal for maybe a month or so, Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine has proposed to Prinsloo according to numerous reports. Levine, a coach on the hit show "The Voice," started dating Prinsloo last year, ended the relationship and then rekindled the romance recently. Now we have learned that the couple are due to be married in the near future.

The 24-year-old model and the 34-year-old singer parted ways in late spring of 2013, but have reconnected and are ready to make it official. Levine apparently popped the question over the weekend.

"Adam Levine and his girlfriend Behati Prinsloo are excited to announce they are engaged to be married," a rep for the couple said. "The couple recently reunited and Adam proposed this weekend in Los Angeles." 

Back when Levine and Prinsloo broke up, it was never made public until the singer was spotted with Nina Agdal on a few occasions. According to a source, Prinsloo was "in and out" of the relationship with Levine who got tired of her lack of commitment but it looks like they worked through that issue.

"The Nina thing was not that serious and was not going to last," a source explained to Us Weekly. "After Adam broke up with Behati, he couldn't stop thinking about her. He realized he really loved her and wanted to be with her."

Another insider said, "Adam kept talking to Behati, and was flooded with emotion when they saw each other again. He knew he wanted to propose."
