Emma Roberts Arrested for Domestic Abuse: 'American Horror Story' Starlet Attacks Boyfriend Evan Peters in Montreal

The star of this season of "American Horror Story" had to deal with a bit of a Canadian horror story after she was arrested for domestic abuse. Emma Roberts was incarcerated by Montreal police after bloodying her boyfriend, "Horror Story" co-star Evan Peters. Although the arrest happened on July 7, the press only caught wind on Tuesday. 

Reports indicate that Roberts and Peters were staying at a hotel in the Quebec city when a commotion was heard by someone in a nearby room. Sensing a domestic disturbance, the individual called the police, who arrived to find Peters a hot mess. According to the police reports, the actor was bleeding from the nose and had a prominent bite mark. 

Further anonymous sources "close to the actress" deny that biting was involved. Roberts was arrested as it seemed Peters had taken most of the abuse, but she was freed from jail within a few hours because her apparently-still-boyfriend refused to press any charges for incident. 

A new report Wednesday morning from TMZ indicates that Roberts might have taken a bit of damage from the kerfuffle. Photos taken of the actress in Beverly Hills show her to be sporting a bandage on her left elbow, as well as significant scuffing on her knees and a few bruises on her thighs. She may have come out looking better than Peters, but he may not have just stood there and taken it. Roberts' camp has issued any statements, nor has Peters'. 

Roberts is best known for her roles in the Nickelodeon show "Unfabulous," as well as the lead role in the revamp of the "Scream" series.
