Key witness to the George Zimmerman's trial, Rachel Jeantel has just received a full college scholarship to attend any HBCU of her choice from radio host, Tom Joyner.
Jeantel was the close friend of Trayvon Martin and was the last person who spoke to the 17-year-old before he was fatally shot.
Joyner was moved by Jeantel's testimony during the trial that he wanted to help her and offer to take care of funding for her college education.
Joyner said, "Rachel, here's my offer to you. If you want to graduate from high school and go to an HBCU, even if it's not in Florida but especially Florida ... If you want to do that, I want to help you do that," Joyner added, "I will help you get tutors to get you out of high school, tutors to help you pass the SAT, and I will give you a full-ride scholarship to any HBCU you'd like."
The host told CNN's "Piers Morgan Live" Tuesday, "We talked to her people today and it's going to take some work, first of all to get her a high school diploma, and get her ready for the SAT test, and then entered into college. But we are going to do that," Joyner added,"She deserves a chance."
