One Direction is particularly known for being very thankful for their fans and Harry, Niall, Liam, Zayn and Louis have often gone out of their way to make sure they feel the love. On July 14 at One Direction's concert at the Midwest Amphitheater in Chicago, Harry Styles helped two lucky fans named Lauren Putz and Lauren Holtz (who happened to be deaf) have the time of their lives. And thanks to a One Direction fan's Tumblr post as well as one of the girls' mother's blog post, we get to tell this amazing story.
"Mom, Harry Styles signed to us at the One Direction concert!" Lauren Putz said to her mother, Karen, according to her blog post over at Chicago Now.
The article described Lauren and Lauren's anticipation leading up to the concert:
"For over a year, Lauren and her friend, Lauren Holtz, waited for this special night. The tickets were bought, the sign language interpreters were requested, and they headed over to the Midwest Amphitheater Sunday night. Their seats were in the 4th row, but the manager moved them up to the front row so they could access the interpreters."
And then the girls' night got incredible when Harry gave them some special attention:
"At the One Direction concert, the girls threw themselves into the songs, signing along as the One Direction boys sang. There were a few impromptu lines to songs which the girls didn't know, so they kicked back and watched the interpreters. The first time Harry signed to them, they nearly fainted. Harry continued to throw signs into his songs, including signing "back for you" right to the girls during the chorus of that song. It was hard not to miss the girls and the interpreters--the spotlight lit up their little corner of the stage."
Harry also signed and mouthed "thank you" to the girls! Read more about Lauren and Lauren and see some photos RIGHT HERE!
Plus, a One Direction fan who happened to be in the front row near the two Laurens recounted her experience as a bystander to this special moment on her Tumblr page:
"This girl, who has never heard one direction's music and never will, is still so moved by it that she paid for front row tickets.
"When the show ended she just sat down and cried and cried and cried like there was no tomorrow. It would have been an unforgettable experience for her either way, but then harry went out of his way to make sure it was one of the best nights of her life and I just."
