While Courtney Love may not have been thrilled about Jay-Z's interpolation of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" lyrics in the Magna Carta Holy Grail track "Holy Grail", at least one 90s icon is ecstatic about being on Jigga's latest album.

Michael Stipe of R.E.M. told NME that he and his band were thrilled to be included on the track "Heaven" (HOV recites the chorus to R.E.M's biggest hit "Losing My Religion").

I've known Jay for a long time, he's super cool, super grounded, super smart and super talented," Stipe told the magazine. "I've always had the deepest respect for him, and his music and choices. We're thrilled [for our lyrics] to be included, it's a really great honor."

Stipe apparently isn't the only one feeling Jay's new album. It's gone to number around the world (including Hovito's first number one in the UK.)
