Britney Spears is ready to headline in Las Vegas and plans on moving into Planet Hollywood this year.

According to RadarOnline, the singer told Judge Goetz, who currently handles her conservatorship about her big news to hit the stage again. The 31-year-old expressed, "how excited she was to be performing in Las Vegas" to the Judge.

The "Baby" singer will start rehearsals soon before concert dates are released,  "The plan is for Britney to begin the shows around New Years Eve, with a huge concert on the last night of the year," says a source.

The singer has stayed out of the media light, cleaning up her image and taking on a position as an X-Factor judge, "The judge was impressed with how happy and excited Britney was." The source continued, "Britney assured Goetz she could handle the stress and felt comfortable with the performance schedule. Britney won't be moving to Las Vegas permanently; she'll perform for several weeks in a row and then have time off. Rehearsals are already underway for the gigs and Britney is heavily involved in the choreography."

The closing deal should be legalized this week and "Britney to appear at a press conference in Las Vegas and announce further details about the concerts. It's a very exciting time in Britney's life and she has never been better," the source close to the singer said.
