Indie rock up-and-comers Ivan & Alyosha have flown largely under the radar. With their jangly pop anthems and atmospheric mid-tempo love songs, the Seattle rockers have gained the attention of NPR and USA Today, who premiered their new music video for "Be Your Man" today (July 19).

The vintage-tinged music video shows the five band members as well as a few select females getting ready for what appears to be a gym class. The quintet perform a variety of tasks trying to impress or win over the cheerleaders, to charmingly no avail.

The quirky clip is full of silly moments that illustrate the song's poppy charm. In an interview with USA Today, bass player Pete Wilson said that he had no problems embarrassing himself. "When I'm doing some sort of high-step kick, and my face looks like I've been running a marathon. Only I'm running in place," he said in regards to the video's most embarrassing moment for him. "That was the moment I was like, 'I look like such an idiot.' That's kind of what we wanted though. We got it -- success!"

The light and happy video fits perfectly with the song's uplifting sound. According to Wilson, the track is a simple love song written for the band members' wives.
