Power house couple, Jay Z and Beyonce have made an appearance this past weekend during a memorial march for Trayvon Martin. Although, the couple did not speak to reporters, they stood next to Trayvon's mother, Sybrina Fulton and her son as they march for Justice after Geroge Zimmerman was found not guilty for shooting her son.
The chanting crowd rallied and marched for "Justice for Trayvon Martin" in Manhattan Saturday. A day after Jay Z dedicated his "Forever Young" song to Trayvon during his concert with Justin Timberlake he told reporters who were seeking comments on his thoughts about the rally and Zimmerman verdict, "I'm not here to do interviews, thank you," according to New York Daily News.
Bereaved mother, Fulton chocked up as she addressed hundreds of supporters about her son saying, "He was a child," She added, "Don't take my word for it. He had a drink and candy."
Prosecutors lost in their argument that Martin was racially profiled by Zimmerman in a second degree murder charge.
Zimmerman claimed that he was attacked by the teen who circled back towards the 29-year-old's truck and punched him in the face causing him to break his nose and slamming his head against the side walk.
A jury of all white women found Zimmerman not guilty of all of second-degree murder and was free to go. Since the verdict, protests in several states have continued in pursuit for Justice for the slain teen.
