Maxpayne Shawty DJ Lazy K Dominique Zonyee Interview [VIDEO]: Georgia Based Rapper and Producer Talks New Mixtape '#4', Working With DJ Paul, And More

As hip-hop continues to morph and evolve, southern influence is becoming more popular. Catchy club, "good time" music has been the focal point of many of the rising rappers as those songs seemingly attracts fans, like bees to honey. Georgia native, rapper/producer/composer Maxpayne Shawty is capitalizing on the "turn up" trend, with his slew of party mixtapes and hit making collaborations. Maxpayne Shawty recently sat down with Dominique Zonyéé for Lazy K Productions, in an interview about his latest DJ Lazy K mixtape "#4."

The Sardis, Georgia native got his start as a teenager when he moved to Atlanta to pursue his music career at the age of 17. Almost instantly Maxpayne began producing beats from underground rappers and more. As a musician playing the guitar and the piano Maxpayne Shawty became known for his multi-faceted platform as a producer and composer.

It seems as though transitioning from producer to rapper was inevitable. By the time her was 19-years-old his first song, "I Get Stupid," was taking over the local Georgia airwaves making him a hometown star. Now, at the age of 25, MaxPayne Shawty continues to make a name for himself as a rapper and producer. He has released a host of club bangin, drug induced, "turn up" mixtapes with the self proclaimed Mixtape Queen DJ Lazy K.
