Mary J. Blige Christmas Album [PHOTOS]: 'The Breakthrough' Singer Announces First Christmas Album Ever, 'A-Mary-Christmas'

Is it Christmas in July? Mary J. Blige sure is in the mood for girft giving. The Grammy Award winning singer just announced the release of her first Christmas album ever, A-Mary-Christmas.

A Mary Christmas, due in October on Matriarch/Verve/Interscope Records, features her soulful interpretation of classic holiday tunes, according to Rap-Up.com.

Mary has landed a great team for the album, she is said to be working with Grammy Award winning producer, David Foster on the album. Foster has work on the multi-platinum Christmas albums of a host of other top names in music such as Rod Stewart, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, and Celine Dion, Rap-Up reported.

This will be Mary's first album since the 2011 release of My Life II... The Journey Continues (Act 1). A-Mary-Christmas will serve as her 11th studio album.
