Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled Engaged? Rapper Asks 'Will You Be My Permanent Stripper?' #SayYesNicki Trends on Instagram after Shocking Diamond Ring, MTV Marriage Proposal [VIDEO]

Earlier this week, DJ Khaled pulled out a diamond engagement ring and proposed to rapper Nicki Minaj on MTV. Following the shocking marriage proposal, Khaled hit-up Instagram to further profess his love for the "High School" songstress. Minaj, will you be Khaled's "perminant stripper" for life?

On Thursday (July 25), Nicki Minaj's YMCMB label-mate DJ Khaled professed his undying love for the "Monster" songstress on MTV News. The two rappers aren't even dating, but Khaled appears totally serious about the proposal... even flashing a $500,000 diamond engagement ring. The infamous record producer poured his heart out to the twerk beauty, exclaiming, "Nicki Minaj, I'm at MTV, I'm going to be honest with you - I love you. I like you, I want you, I want you to be mine." Do fans think Minaj will accept the marriage proposal? Or is the entire thing a huge publicity stunt, considering Khaled's new album "Suffering from Success" is due out sometime later this year?

In the middle of an interview with MTV News, DJ Khaled took the time to propose marriage to Minaj:

"We got the same symptoms, we're both suffering from success... [If] you gotta take your time and think about it, I understand, but I know I have to be here today to let you know how serious I am and how serious this is to me... Nicki Minaj, will you marry me?"

He then pulled out a 10 karat-radiant cut diamond ring in the video (valued at about $500,000, according to MTV).

Still... the shocking proposal's probably a prank. In his little "I love you" speech, Khaled mentions both rappers "suffer from success"... duh, the name of his new 2013 album!

But who knows... maybe the two WILL eventually exchange "I dos!" Wonder if Khaled got permission from Minaj's ex, Drake?

Following the proposal (which Minaj has yet to respond to) Khaled posted on Instagram:
