"Basketball Wives" is back and so is Evelyn Lozada is back and she's not taking her domestic violence incident lightly. A sneak peek of the newest season shows cast mate Suzie Ketcham laughing at a friend's joke about preventing getting head butted by wearing helmets on dates.
Somehow the joke got back to Evelyn and she asked the lost looking Suzie, "You thought that was funny?" The speechless Suzie sat there as Evelyn grilled the reality star.
MStars News previously reported:
After a month of marriage, Evelyn Lozada and Chad Johnson split up after a domestic violence issue in August in front of their home. The reality star found a receipt for condoms in the football player's car. The two had gotten into a heated conversation that led to Johnson head-butting his wife causing her to bleed. Lozada ran next door to her neighbor's house who then called 911.
Since the fight, Lozada had spoken publicly about the dispute on reality show Fix My Life, with Iyanla Vanzant. Very upset about her failed marriage Lozada said she gave Johnson permission to cheat saying, "You see so much. [...] I said if there's ever a feeling or a thought in your mind that you want to go there I'd rather know about it." Lozada also admitted apologized to Johnson's daughters for not being a good role model and said, "I am now your Step-mother, your dad's wife and I haven't always handled things the right way and I don't want you guys to do what I've done. So I am here to tell you that I am sorry for doing that, I want your forgiveness."
Johnson has been going to intervention programs to help with his temper, but Lozada does not want any contact with the athlete even though the no-contact order has been lifted. In any case, if Lozada still feels threatened she can get a civil restraining order against Johnson. The former Miami Dolphin athlete still hasn't signed onto any teams since being cut by the team after his arrest for domestic violence.
