Eminem New Album 2013: Release Date, Tour RUMORS Loom as LeBron James Picks Slim Shady's Rap Song 'Not Afraid' for NBA 2K14 Video Game Soundtrack [Video/Tracklist]

It's almost August - which means Eminem will kick-off his mini-tour of Europe VERY soon. Still, details surrounding Slim Shady's highly-anticipated new album still remain scarce. Hopefully, the "8 Mile" rapper will debut some fresh tunes during his upcoming performances overseas. For now, the eighth studio record's name, release date, and tracklist still remain a total mystery. Thankfully, Shady continues to uphold the title of one of the biggest rappers in the game... apparently, Miami Heat NBA superstar LeBron James is even a huge fan! "King James" recently selected the soundtrack for the new basketball-themed video game NBA 2K14 - and Em's hit track "Not Afraid" appears on the list! Check it out...

NBA champ and MVP LeBron James serves as the cover athlete for the upcoming Visual Concepts/2K Sports video game. NBA 2K14 will be released on October 25, 2013 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, the PC, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One. James also served as music curator for the game - here's the full tracklist:

Shady's hit tune "Not Afraid" from 2010's "Recovery" album appears on the official soundtrack:

Before hand-picking his musical selection, James released a statement explaining, "2K is letting me take control of some important elements in NBA 2K14, including this year's soundtrack. I love that I'm the first NBA 2K cover athlete to choose the soundtrack." 

Apparently, Em's a favorite amongst athletes and sports teams. As Mstars previously reported:
