'Vampire Diaries' Season 5 Spoilers, 2013 Episodes [PHOTO & VIDEO]: Paul Wesley & Torrey DeVitto Divorce, Ian Somerhalder & Nina Dobrev Back Together?

"Vampires Diaries" stars Paul Wesley and Torrey DeVitto are putting an end to their real life marriage according to a representative for the former couple. This rep told People that the two "have decided to amicably split. They will continue to remain good friends." So what does this mean for the upcoming fifth season of the popular CW series?

Wesley and DeVitto met in 2007 and were married in April of 2011 in a private ceremony in New York City. The "Pretty Little Liars" actress was featured on "Vampire Diaries" as well, which was a great bonus for the young couple.

Back in 2012, Wesley spoke of the benefits of working on the same show. "It's fantastic because otherwise we'd be 2000 miles away, Los Angeles and Georgia, so it's very nice to be in the same geographical location," he had said at the time.

As far as season 5 news goes, we do know that Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev are not awkward together after their real life split. The two are filming scenes for the upcoming season (with Wesley of course) and all seems to be going well. A little too well some would say. Are Nina and Ian warming up to each other again?

Somerhalder recently told Ryan Seacrest that he would love a part in the Fifty Shades of Grey film that he has been widely rumored to be starring in.

"It could be very, very amazing," Somerhalder said. "I have the book and I just started reading it. That would be a pretty incredible thing, and hopefully that could pan out . . . Beyond the shadow of a doubt, I think that would be a phenomenal opportunity!"

It turns out that he won't be starring in the film, though.
