'Star Wars 7' News, Cast Rumors [PHOTOS]: Chloe Grace Moretz Would 'Kill' For a Role in 2015's 'Episode VII,' Filming Starts August? Code Named 'Foodles'

New reports are claiming that J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII could start production as early as August 2013 (yes, this month) and the pseudonym for the project is "Foodles Productions Ltd." In order to keep some secrecy, movies going into production give the project a code name, and Star Wars chose a pretty interesting one, wouldn't you say?

First of all, "Foodles" is Disney-branded healthy snack option. So, that's just random in terms of why Episode VII was given that code name.

Also, the news of pre-production already starting at Pinewood studios comes from an alleged "very trusted source," though it is not an official statement from Disney or Lucasfilm.

Another report disproved the August filming news. Bryan Young of Big Shiny Robot stated:

I talked to a Lucasfilm spokesperson who didn't comment on the codename, but did say that during her Q and A at Star Wars Celebration: Europe, Kathy Kennedy said that the new Star Wars film wouldn't shoot until next year. "Nothing has changed."

Whether the movie starts filming this month or in any number of months, we still have no idea who has been cast in Episode VII yet!

Though a new young Hollywood star has thrown her name into the race. Kick Ass 2 star Chloe Grace Moretz recently revealed her Star Wars ambitions.

When asked if she had any interest in the project, she said, "I mean, obviously there's interest. It's 'Star Wars'!"

"I'd kill to be a part of that franchise, but I don't know," the 16-year-old added. "J.J., I'll give you my phone number. You can text me."

There have also been actors that don't want an involvement in the film, too. In a surprising turn of events, Nick Frost and Simon Pegg, huge Star Wars fans, have admitted that they do not want to be involved in the 2015 film.

"I don't want to be in Star Wars, I think it would spoil it," Pegg said. "When I saw Star Wars when I was a kid, I saw a bunch of people I'd never seen before with some lofty, very respectable older actors in senior roles," he continued. "I would hope J.J. doesn't stunt-cast the film. It would be great to get some new peeps in it, it would be amazing."

Frost added: 'I'd like to sit back as a punter and see what's going to come from J.J.'s mind."
