Royal Swaddle: Aden + Anais' Sales Skyrocket After Prince George Wears Product, 'Kate Effect'? Royal Baby Birth Certificate [PHOTO]

The "royal swaddle" is now selling like hot cakes after it was shown being worn by Kate Middleton and Prince William's new baby boy. Prince George was shown wearing a cotton swaddle with tiny birds on it and now the small company who makes the royal swaddle has seen its sales skyrocket. Fox News reports that once fashion bloggers and style writers caught wind that New York based aden + anais made the swaddle the news spread like wildfire and the company's website crashed. It seems the Duchess of Cambridge's baby boy is become quite the fashion trend setter.

Fox News reports that the company's website also crashed the next day, with the company bringing in 7,000 orders within nine days, a 600 percent increase in sales on their swaddle item.

This isn't the first time this has happened. It is well known that if your company's dress gets worn by Middleton than there is a good chance your sales will sky rocket. According to Fox News, it's called the "Kate Effect."

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recently just registered the birth of baby George. ABC News reports that on the birth certificate, George's official name was written as, "His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge."
