Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have been seeing a marriage counselor before the cheating scandal went public. According to RadarOnline.com Odom stopped going to the sessions once he began his affair with Polina Polonsky in early June. Initially, Khloe wanted to talk about Odom's career problems from 2011 and not about infidelity.

After Odom was traded Khloe "felt a significant change in Lamar, and with their relationship," the source says. "Lamar was miserable in Dallas, and was in a funk for a very long time."

According to a source close to the family, "The counselor would come to their mansion for privacy," the source continued, "They had been in treatment on and off for the past year."

According to RadarOnline's source the NBA athlete stopped going to the sessions once the cheating scandal broke, "Lamar refused to continue to see the therapist," the source added, "He pulled the plug on it and said it was only causing more stress in the marriage."
