Selena Gomez covered Lorde's sneaky pop hit "Royals" at a concert last night (August 14) during a concert in Vancouver. The "Come & Get It" singer took a break from her Stars Dance material to drop an acoustic-y laid-back rendition of the New Zealand teen's slick pop anti-materialist ode.

Personally, I dig the Selena Gomez version more than the original. When the former Disney starlet sings it, it sounds gentler and less like a cast-off track from What We Saw From The Cheap Seats.
