Rihanna and A$AP Rocky continuously deny that they were ever involved in a romantic relationship... but the chemistry between Chris Brown's ex and the "F#ckin' Problems" rapper is clearly evident. RiRi and A$AP are currently filming the music video for their upcoming collaboration "Work" in NYC... and they appear to be getting close both on AND off screen! During a video shoot break early Thursday morning (August 15), the two superstars were caught flirting in front of a dark convenience store. At one point, they even started making out! Are the hip-hop duo really secretly dating?

According to several gossip reports, the "Diamonds" songstress and A$AP were spotted filming their "Work" music video on the streets of NYC at around 3 a.m. on Thursday. The duo allegedly play sexy "love interests" in the upcoming video. And apparently, things got hot-and-steamy both on AND off camera. Check out the photos recently posted by Perez Hilton.

"Scenes in the video included two different clothing boutiques interior shots. Then they came out arm-in-arm and kissed," an eyewitness tells Hollywood Life. "Then they moved locations to a bodega in Soho. A$AP and his boys were catcalling as Rihanna walked in. Then they talked, end of scene. Cameras stopped rolling."

During a short break, RiRi and Rocky snuck off to share a cigarette together (er, perhaps a joint?). They kept things friendly throughout the entire evening.

Do fans think there's a blossoming romance between the two singers?

A$AP was an opening act for Rihanna's "Diamonds" world tour from March - May. Rumors suggest they started hooking-up while on the road... and now things just continue getting hotter. According to a Hollywood Life insider:

“Rihanna is not Mother Theresa, she is more Mother F#cker. She is definitely not afraid to be sexual. Just look at all her photos she posts. There is no dating relationship happening between the two, but they are definitely sleeping with each other. So that can obviously lead into things more romantic.” The source explains that during the video shoot “they got closer, laughing and whispering, and then they made out. She slept overnight at his hotel — never returned to hers.”
